Clothes Show Live 2011 ♥

i’ve now officially attended for the 7th year running…

- the saleswoman that insisted her bags fitted an A4 sheet of paper in was AMAZING! it was crumpled, she’d folded it to get it in and yet still insisted “it fits nicely, see!”

- the clothes this year had improved! the organisers definitely realised it was starting to get repetitive and outdated

- couldn’t argue with my free badge, chuppa chup and can of diet coke!

- last minute ticket buying appears to be the way forward; we were so close to the stage and only booked Thursday night

- the department store theme; lifts - reminiscent of the Paris Fashion Week 2011 Louis Vuitton Show (minus the smoking Kate Moss)

- the *bridal floor was my highlight, the backdrop with all the celebrity wedding photos was just too cute!

- not sure i liked the random mid-show performance by a pussycat doll…maybe i would enjoy it in the future if the single wasn’t so dire :| the girl can dance but sing (or mime) she cannot!

- Alexandra Burke is such a good performer, but i wish they would let the acts have more stage time like back in the day

- thank you to my fave male model for gracing the show with his presence, we could tell you couldn’t dance, but it’s ok (y)

- chocolate fondue is amazing, and kudos for the woman for letting me have both white and milk chocolate. i felt twice as sick but it was worth it.

- new velvet dress by ‘oh my love’ (i dared, it was £13.50 and currently selling in TopShop for £39!), t-shirt and belly bar. budget shopping so was careful 8-)

all in all successful day out!
